A selection of works by Roland de Lassus (Mons 1531 ca - Munich 1594) portraying all his stylistic potentialities, from dances to chansons, from madrigals to Battaglie.

Already famous during his lifetime (Ronsard, the famous poet of the Pleiade and a contemporary of him, already called him "le Divin"), his works were printed and in a large number of editions. The CD offers an excellent opportunity to rediscover, alongside few compositions by Vincenzo Galileo, all his peculiarities.
